Delete your My Diet Bot account

Last updated: Version 1.0

You can delete your account and all of its data at any time, in the app or by email. This applies to the My Diet Bot app by developer Furkan Kesen.

1. Delete in the app (fastest)

  1. Open My Diet Bot and sign in.
  2. Tap the Settings (gear) icon at the top right.
  3. In the Account section, tap Delete account.
  4. Confirm by tapping Delete.

Your account is deleted straight away and you're signed out. This can't be undone.

2. What gets deleted

  • Your account: email address, name and Apple or Google sign-in links.
  • Your profile and health information, such as weight, height, age, goals and allergies.
  • Your chat history and your coach's memories.
  • Your meals, estimates and journal history.
  • Your meal photos, voice notes and transcripts.
  • Your coach name, tone and other preferences.
  • Your app activity history, such as when meals were logged or memories saved.

Timing: deleted from our live systems immediately, and removed from our rolling backups within 30 days.

3. What may remain, and for how long

  • Server logs (IP address and request details) expire within 30 days.
  • Crash reports, which don't include your identity, expire within 90 days.
  • OpenAI's abuse-monitoring logs expire within 30 days.
  • We may keep a minimal technical record that an account was deleted, without its content, name or email address, so the deletion can't be accidentally reversed.

We don't keep anything else, unless the law requires us to.

4. Can't open the app? Delete by email

  1. Email privacy@mydietbot.com from the email address on your account, with the subject “Delete my account”.
  2. If you used Sign in with Apple with “Hide My Email”, tell us. We'll confirm it's you by writing to your private relay address, which Apple forwards to your inbox.
  3. We'll delete your account and all of its data and confirm by email within 30 days of verifying your request, usually much sooner.

We may ask a simple question to confirm the account is yours. We'll never ask for your password.

5. Other options

  • Delete a single meal: open it from your Dashboard or Insights and tap Delete meal.
  • Forget a memory: tap Forget this on the memory card, or ask your coach to forget it.
  • Stop sharing with AI: withdraw your AI consent in Settings.
  • Deleting the app from your phone doesn't delete your account. Use one of the options above.
  • Sign in with Apple: after deleting your account, you can also remove My Diet Bot from the apps using your Apple Account. In iOS Settings, tap your name, then Sign-In & Security, then Sign in with Apple.
